There probably won't be much fibre in pizza, which is why pizza is not winning any accolades for its health benefits. However that is not to say that there is none in any pizza. The dough for instance may contain some fibre, although most quick Pizza Hut-esque pizza's are made with white flour, so the fibre would be minimal.

Some of the toppings may also contain trace amounts of fibre, but only if you're getting veggies. It's extremely slim pickin's when it comes to fibre on pizza. If you're really looking to add fibre in your diet, and want to stay true to Italian food (if that's why you're asking), try multi-grain pasta, which can contain as much as 9 grams of fibre per serving.

As for why fibre is important to your diet. Fibre does a couple of great things. First of all it makes you feel fuller, faster, meaning your impulse to stuff yourself is reduced significantly. Fibre rich foods like pasta, fruit, etc, can make you feel fuller eating less, than foods such as pizza will.

Secondly fibre keeps you regular. This may not sound very important but keep in mind that harmful toxins and waste products are eliminated when you use the "facilities". Staying regular ensures these toxins and wastes are eliminated regularly from the body, keeping your body healthy.
