I know that they might sound good, but high mileage oils are not that much different than normal oils. I'd just go with regular oil that your owners manual specifies from a reputable company and always use that kind. Your engine will run fine.

I wouldn't necessarily use "high mileage oil." It's really only a synthetic blend anyway.

Valvoline, Havoline, Shell, Castrol are all good. Stick with something synthetic or a blend unless high mileage oil is cheaper.

Avoid Penzoil and Quaker State like the plague. They don't have near the additives the others do and will sometimes cause knock.

Wal Mart's store brand does pretty well, and is NOT quaker state or penzoil like some people think.

The best thing to use in any high milage cars is syinthetic oil. I would use mobil one. It helps the engine run smother and it makes your engine last longer.

DELO-400 15W-40...

about $8-10 gallon, but WELL worth it!
