I have dated a guy for about 8 years. He doesn't make me feel good or special anymore. It seems like everything I do for him is never good enough, he sometimes acts appreciative. But he doesn't consider my feelings or thoughts on anything. When we get into an arguement he's ready to leave. Is there anyway to help us out? or anything I can do to help?

go to counciling, both of you for couples. If you've been together that long there must be something you both love about each other and reasons you want to stay together. Talk to a professional. He/she could help.

It looks to me as an ordinary marital crisis. It happens all the time in wedded couples, and in an argument men are always ready to leave when they know they are wrong. Do as most married woman, take a good breath and wait till things settle down and don't expect him to be as thoughtful as in honeymoon days. Sad to say, but one must face the truth. men are ready to take anything for granted after a while and don't make any more efforts. Not the same with us girls trying to stay fit and affectionate to please our men. I guess, that's life !!! Venus vs Mars

It sounds like this relationship should be coming to an end. This man obviously does not care for you at all, and may be using you. You don't deserve to be treated this way by anyone.

It sounds like you are young, and 8 years is a LONG time to be dating someone if your young.

There is a better man out there for you.

Sincerely,
Jessica Kelly

start picking your battles.. don't aruge about the little stuff that doesn't really matter...
like who cares if he forgot to pick up milk.. or something silly like that..

as for his not showing his appreciation maybe your not really showing it to him either.. remember realtionships involve two people and it takes both people to make it work

your a team start acting like it

I don't think you can help it, he has made up his mind of leaving you. And i also think that he has found another lover. So call it a quit with him. God will see you through.
