I found this old bottled water, n after I drank it I read the expiry date n it said it was expired. then i had rly bad poo, n i feel sick, help

lol.... sorry thats so not funny but I didnt realize water could expire. I thought water would always be water. I think youll be ok.

Basically the bottle's plastic will break down and you don't want to taste plasticky water, but ANY water that just sits around stagnant will go bad and can also have bacteria in it if you let it sit around in ANY container, which is why survivalists are supposed to cycle their water with a first in, first out system so they constantly have fresh water replenished. If you have a 50 gallon drum you add a few drops of bleach per few gallons and stir if it's been sitting there for a while to handle the bacteria.

It could be that if it was in the car or sitting outside, the sun could have melted the plastic into the water.
But if that brand of water expires, don't buy it anymore...probably some chemical in there that goes bad......
