Man cannot offer himself even with the noblest of intentions for others sin, for Jesus was the ONLY person ever born separate from the sin-curse God placed upon man after expelling Adam and Eve from Eden. Even if you had obeyed God's salvation plan BEFORE you crucified yourself, it would be of no effect, for the price has already been paid! But, I will say that the Scripture refers to people who offer themselves in such a valorous manner, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man would lay down his life for his friends." Man would be considered "noble" in such a regard, but his sacrifice would NOT absolve the lives he saved from their SINS; it would only (hopefully) open their eyes to his bravery and remind them they've been given a second lease on life.
