Holdsworths in New Zealand?

Question

Joseph Holdsworth b 1824 emigrated from London UK to Wellington NZ in the 1850s, with his wife Mary Battersby. She died soon after and he remarried a Elizabeth Mary Smith. Joseph died in 1884 and they are buried in Wellington

Their son Charles Holdsworth founded the NZ Union Steamship Company and was knighted. He had two children Godfrey born 1888 and Dorethea 1896.

And there I lose the thread of Holdsworths in New Zealand.

Any help would be great.

Hey Always Up For It,

The daughter will likely be more difficult to follow. My instinct says follow Godfrey since he carries the Surname. Do you know from which you descend?

Someone in the Holdsworth GENFORUM may know also.

There are 200+ entries in Family Search.

I went a little crazy finding sites for you, hope some of this helps. I think I found one that you posted too.
