Well, it is a slow acting emetic...which means it can make you vomit...but take its time doing so. Yes, it is a berry but the root can also be used and you spelled it correctly. I will post two links here for you but I only found one that mentions "tummy fat".

Please note: this is a "natural" product which means it promises to cure/help with numerous issues: chronic rheumatism, granular conjunctivitis, headaches, paralysis of the bowels, hemorrhoids, chronic rheumatism and more...a virtual cure all, a miracle!

As a natural product, it has not gone rigorous testing by the FDA...the same that is required for medications. Since it is untested, it can promise anything it wants and there is no guarantee it will work or that it is not diluted, stuffed with fillers or even safe.

As an additional note, this product has narcotic properties which means it might be habit forming. I suggest you very seriously consider whether or not you want to risk taking this. Symptoms of overdose are: vomiting, lethargy, convulsions and death. It is also known to cause convulsion and death in small animals.

It comes as a liquid, lotion, cream and tincture...depending on method of use.

The site below makes interesting reading, it also talks about other uses for the juice and the root.
The second link is more technical but still interesting.
