Check out Clairol Texture & Tones Hair color for African American Women. Black looks great on Nia. Try a Dark Brown.

I just dyed my hair a light auburn and i've been getting so many compliments but i'm kind of light. For your skin tone, you should go with cinnamons, reds, a mixture of browns and blondes (trust me, it will look really nice with honey chestnut browns mixed with darker browns and blondish highlights).

hi, i don't know who nia is, but i have been dyeing my hair since i was 13. i even dyed my hair when i was a freshman in the girls bathroom when i was supposed to be in my science class. well.......dyeing your hair is a science. i am lucky to have a skin tone that accepts all colors, and believe me i've had them all. i've never had my hair colored professionally, i do it myself and i've never not liked the results..go check out the manic panic website..tiger lilly is absolutely gorgeous!! good luck!

Go with 2 shades lighter than your normal hair and use highlights of 1 shade lighter than that. Use a trusted salon, even if it's a little more expensive, no one wants fried hair.
