people who beat and kill their pets should have the same thing done to them

The most appropriate punishment would be to beat them. Unfortunately, we'd then have to punish the beater. That's why they get jail time instead.

Animals should be used respectfully. If they must be killed, it should be in a quick and humane manner.

Well, I know it won't work but I would hope jail time and a lifetime ban of owning pets and having to register as an animal abuser (like the sex offender registration).

The registration would be to track them and know where they are...since we all know that animal abusers turn out to abuse (and kill sometimes) humans too.


It doesn't seem fair though - to just have jail time if torture was involved. I always want them to feel the pain that they inflicted - I don't think those people feel pain (emotional) like normal people do...

the 1st 3 people you all are idiots. It merely like killing a guy or woman who's accused of killing some one, their isn't any one hundred% thank you to make advantageous this is the main superb guy or woman. comparable might bypass with people who abuse animals. 13 years in detention center is a sufficent penalty.

After serving prison time, community service being the person who has to give baths to all the shelter cats, with no gloves or protection from their freaked out claws. Monitored of course so they don't hurt the kitties.

i hate cowards that abuse animals any and all animals,they should get felony time for this sick crime against poor kind loving animals,they should get a big fine and jail time and never be able to even be around any animals ..they should put their pictures of them so society can see a low life for what they are sick spineless 'as$es..they should really do to them exactly what they did to the animals that would be real justice for al.!!!!!!!.

People who hurt animals will hurt a human being, often they become serial killers. People who deliberately hurt animals are sociopaths so they should be locked up.

Well..animal cruelty is a felonly. Can get you up to 10 years in jail and a 10,000 dollar fine. thankfully!
