I have a 7 week old chocolate lab pup and his nose isnt like, dry skin dry, its just not wet and moist. Is this normal?

no a dogs nose must always be wet and cool if its not then the dog is prob. getting sick

no his nose should be somewhat moist. Is he eating and drinking normal? If not you should get him to a vet and have him looked at he could be running a fever and be sick. Just watch to make sure he is eating and drinking like he should and even using the bathroom normal most dogs when they are sick show some sign they are sick if you notice anything not normal take him to a vet asap he should probably go in anyways for a check up just to be safe.

Yes, the old saying that if there nose is dry something is wrong is not true. It will change.You are going to have a great time with your chocolate lab.I have too and they are the greatest dogs I have ever had and the smartest.Just watch there weight,they have a tendency to become over weight easily.One of mine weights 145 lbs. I could actually see him growing every day.

A dog's nose isn't always the best way to determine his health.
But if he is off his feed, or not drinking enough water it would be wise to have a talk with the vet.

When he is sleeping, his nose will be warm and dry, when he is awake, playing, etc. his nose should be cool and wet.

Its fine. As long as he is eating,drinking, pooping okay and not lethargic
