Let me get this straight, to have blind faith I just have to blindly believe that there is a god or a buddha, or as I'm sure many will say "accept Christ as my savior"

Just blindly believe and it will be true, is that the jist of it?

I can't have blind faith that my bills will miraculously be paid, so why should I let blind faith control my soul?

Great question.

It is really a philosophy. Blind Faith is just a way to order fear. I am afraid of dying and not sure what will happen afterwards so If I assign blind faith to the task and rely on it, then I can feel comfortable that I will be taken care of.

It is nuts, but required for some people.

Blind Faith?I don't think it's right to have a blind faith. There is a verse in the Bible that says "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch".We can't have a blind faith it might lead us into hell. Faith is coming from hearing of the Word of GOD roman 10:17. After that we should obey. Apocalypse 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein.Open your eyes for your own sake!

Well,. First off... Faith is not blind. You are merely putting all of your concerns about what's going on in your life into the hands of God. You trust him that whatever happens will happen and it's for the best in the long run. It actually makes things work out so much easier.

You obviously don't understand Faith, young sister. try researching it.

It is possible to have blind faith, but such "faith" will do you no good. The kind of faith we should be building is based on accurate knowledge.

No where in the Bible are we told to just believe and not understand. If that was the case, the Bible could be much shorter!

John 17:3 says, "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

Having accurate knowledge is a pre-requisite to true faith.

Faith requires that the take the risk of knowing. Faith is a knowing. Belief is hoping and trying. Knowing does not take all the pain of life away, but knowing and accepting that life works out in some way, mysterious or whatever. Life works out. Faith allows you to know.
You can not prove Faith except by having some.

My faith isn't blind. It is a well-reasoned, historically verified faith.

I was a total God-hating atheist before I came to Christ. I used to say as you do, that it is about "blind faith." The opposite is true.

If you were to look at the Bible with a genuine open mind, and allow it to speak to you, you would see the truth. God welcomes our questions, and is more than capable of answering them. Not all of them get answered on this side of eternity, but enough for the most jaded skeptic to see.

Blind Faith...No blind faith will not pay your bills. I think as long as you continue to question with out searching Gods word you will always come up not knowing. Take a test...you are taking the test, not testing God. Open yourself up to beileve in God for 1 month. Pray and ask God to show Himself to you. Be honest about it. For 1 month pray and believe. Do not let "the world" distract you. Do not second guess yourself or God. Pray with all belief and I promise you God will show Himself to you. God is already moving in your life. The whole reason you are questioning blind faith is because God is moving you to. He wants you to see Him. You are His child and He loves you.
Remember, You can not find it, unless you are truly looking for it. God bless!

Christ is surely a saint and believing in him is respect because he is our savior but he is not God.
Believeing in God is totally blind faith and has nothing to do with paying your bills.
GOD IS BLIND FAITH but your bills won't be paid by GOD.

It doesn't. Faith should not be blind.

The Apostle Paul described it this way: "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for... the EVIDENT DEMONSTRATION of REALITIES though not beheld. " (Heb. 11:1)

Another scripture to consider: "Present your bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to God, a sacred service with YOUR POWER OF REASON." - Romans 12:1

Love is nothing more than faith in the person you are spending your life with christian faith is nothing more than expression their love for the founder of their religion.
