She will sit in the litter box forever and nothing, she is drinking plenty of water and eating 9 lives for food. Could it be a urinary or kidney infection?

Probably a urinary infection or urine crystals that cause blockage. Or kidney problem. Get her to a vet ASAP because this can be lethal, but it can be resolved in a simple way if treated in time. Get her to the vet for tests and treatment right away, don't wait any longer for computer answers! And feeding urinary formula (or renal, depending on the problem) could help, but after the initial blockage is dealt with by the vet.

Sounds like a kidney problem/urinary tract infection. There is also a huge recall of pet foods right now and the problem is that the affected cat food is causing kidney failure! Here is a link to check and see if the food you have her on is part of the recall. Also, foods like 9 lives, meow mix, etc aren't of the greatest quality. Your vet may suggest a better brand of food to feed your kitty. Please take the cat to the vet. The website to check if the food your giving her is part of the massive recall is http://www.menufoods.com/recall/index.html
Good luck!!

Hmmm, strange. Is she doing one (like peeing) continuously interior the litterbox, and the different (like pooping) exterior of it? If she is, then you could a minimum of be beneficial the subject is psychological. If no longer, perchance a vet verify may be so as first, to rule out a bladder an infection. so some distance as psychological themes, i will recommend the greater obtrusive ability reasons - any substitute in muddle or litterboxes at present, or in litterbox places? Any new participants to the better half and childrens at present - a puppy or someone? Any new products close to her containers, some thing that must be scaring her in some way? i might throw out the tub mats she's peed on, because of the fact as quickly as the scent is there she's probable to maintain peeing there. (yet Nature's Miracle extremely does artwork miracles on cat urine scent). possibly you will desire to eliminate the tub mats from the flooring, and in basic terms positioned them in there once you're certainly in there for a bath or notwithstanding. removing the tub mats would do the trick. If all else fails, you ought to ask the vet approximately some thing like cat prozac or perhaps cat `valium', and use that for awhile to cut back the cat's rigidity. good success

Go to the vet immediately, it definately sounds like a urinary tract blockage, it can be fatal but your cat will suffer terribly.

you have to get kitty to the vet asap as it can kill you and make life unbearable with her body like that,,,all the toxins will stay in her and will kill her fast and hard,,,it could be kidney infection or blockage,,,please it is very painful for kitty so go now and go to the vet while she is still able to stand up ,,,,,,,,LOL ps even if she;s eating she still has to get it out of her body and with out peeing and pooing she;ll be poisoned,

You have to take her to the vet today. She can go into renal failure and die. Take her now, it's nothing to wait and see about.
