I think the shaft is an equal opportunity weapon.

I don't think christians get the shaft at all. Sure, there's plenty of ribbing, but that goes both ways. As far as I can tell they are able to ask and answer with the rest of us.

If anything they get the shaft because, with regards to proof and logic, their position is untenable--but that's a self-inflicted position. So I guess maybe they do get the shaft...from themselves.

Everybody gets put down at some point regarless of what they believe. Christians are most certainly not the only ones who get the "shaft".

The 'shaft' as you refer to isn't an unusual position for any true christian if Christianity were easy and the path were well marked everyone would follow without fear of persecution.

I don't have a victim complex. Christians don't need acceptance of man so why would we feel like we got the shaft?

Nope, just the exception to the usual politic silence that non-christians exercise in the real world.

What's the matter? Can't handle disagreement. Can't maintain your own opinions in the face of something other than the illusion of total agreement from the people around you?

Too freaking bad.

If you consider pointing out fallacies in people's beliefs that anger them because deep down they know them to be false to be getting the shaft.

then yes.

No...I think not. Most Christians criticize everyone else.
