Don't all parents do that?

Yeah, I'm 45 and my Dad still gives me that look, only now it has a grin to go with. I've also given my children the same look. And now with my first to grandchildren on the way, one of my daughters is already giving the family eye too her little one who doesn't have much room in there anymore and is uncomfortable. Yes! We know the eye very well.

I had parents who would give me THAT look, and my kids have a Mother who gives them THAT look, and my grand angels have parents and a Grandmother who give them THAT look. It's a family tradition passed down for generations.

My dad is more of the "looking" kind of parent, and my mom usually screams her head off at me.

I'm a parent... weren't you aware that classes are held prior to giving birth to teach parents how to give "THOSE" looks???

Of course! just with that look I knew that I had to stop because if not a punishment was in the road for sure!!!!!

oh yes, when i was growing up, that's all it took was that look and you'd swear they killed me, i dint know what it was, maybe we respected our parents more back then, or if we were truely scared of them?but now as an adult that look , i now call the bug eye look, cause she gives it to me through bifocals, which makes her eyes look like saucer's, kinda scary., and they dint make-me cry anymore, they crack me up.

My mother didn't have time to give me looks, she would give me a whack and I was quickly put in my place..I am glad because I grew up smarter.

Yes, and when they gave you the "look" you knew to stop whatever it was you were doing or you would be in big trouble.
