Does your religion allow you to silence anyone who disagrees with you or does your religion accept those who may have different beliefs?

I accept the fact that others have different beliefs.
Now...if they ask a question, and I answer accordingly out of the bible, and they are silenced, then that's that. But if they don't agree, all well and fine!

For my own part, I'm a truth is where you find it kind of person, sometimes you can run into the same concept in 3 different holy writs, put different ways, and the one that puts it in a way that makes the most sense to you might not be the book you are most used to using. If all but one of them were "silenced" I might never understand the concept in question. I consider all paths valid, and all contain the great truths, to those who know how to seek them with understanding. If you silence all who oppose you, the only thing you get out of that are a whole bunch of scared, resentful people who will look for any means they can to over turn that sort of totalitarian environment, it might not be today, or next month, but they will be working at it in big ways and small, and tear it down eventually. Which is why I remember the Cold War, and our country's fear of a totalitarian regime in the Soviet Union, fingers on both sides hovering over "the button". Which is why I got to see it on television the day they tore down the Berlin Wall. A day that I never expected to see in my lifetime. Which is why the Wall was built in the first place, when Nazi Germany was divided up after the war. Because where there is totalitarianism, there are also those who are going to fight it.

If you silence everyone with a different opinion to yourself, you are unlikely to research your own beliefs, so you won't learn. Opposition is important to education.

Absolutely not. It would only mean everyone is terrified of you not that they truly agree. Peace be with you
