Yeah. The teachings of the greatest teacher of all time copied by 4 authors could fit on a napkin.

His teaching are great which is showing the man direction towards God. God is universal and his principals are applicable all over the world. The details of application may vary from place to place in different religions, Muslimism, Buddhism, Chritianism, but the religious principles don't change with differences in time, place and circumstances.

He is such a great teacher, that even while being crucified on the cross, he prayed to the Lord to forgive those very perons who were torturing him.

Bible may contain only a few pearls of knowledge, but pearl is a pearl nevrtheless. Something is better than nothing.

If you really lok and read the whole Bible and studya nd ask the Lord. Jesus is in it from Genesis on and the layer of layers of information unfold and the beauty and briliance of the coventant..well. So many things are about the effort we put in it and the only thing I can say is that if we studied the Lords word like we had to actually depend on it to live it would be a different thing..and you know what we actually do depend on it to live :) Ah yo uknow the three years that he taught the dicples have change the world for thousands ..and he simple was not there to glorify himself but the to glorify the Father ..my words could never teach but I would hope that The Lord could shine His light thru me to you would say all that needed to be said..I am not there but that is what i want for peope to not need anything but to see the Lord in my life

Bible is the collection of writings of his close disciples. At those times, communication has not developed that much. Secondly Jesus always talked in parables. Unless they understand the purport they can not reproduce it properly. I feel that many of the teachings might have escaped the attention of his disciples or they might have possibly forgotton the essence and hence they might have failed to record it. Thus not all that is spoken by Christ might have seen the print. Again some of those conversations were with ordinary people who are supposed to hear that message. Probably the disciples may not be near the hearing distances. Thus many of his teachings might have escaped from recording. nagarajan.

Well there is more than a few. Perhaps you need to read the Bible to discover them. As stated Jesus was here to serve. The things He did and said would be to much to mention. It would be larger than the Bible is. And lets look at the Bible as a whole. It is Gods word. So that would be more than a few pearls of His knowledge. Amen and Peace out....................

Hmmm, your question is based on an assumption that I would categorically reject. The assumption is that the available amount of information about Jesus is not adequate with which to reach a conclusion about him.

That is simply not the case. There is sufficient information available to understand who he was, why he came to earth, the type of life he lead, that he was crucified, died and was buried, that there was an empty tomb, that he appeared to over 500 people subsequent to his death and resurrection, and that he proclaimed that God is just, holy, and merciful, that we are in peril due to our state of open rebellion and spitting in the face of the Almighty God, and that Jesus is hear to provide redemption and reconciliation with God for those who would trust that he is who he says he is.

The bottom line, you can add another 1,000,000 pages of documentation to the available information. This would still be inadequate to open a closed mind and heart.

Jesus is a part of the Godhead, Godhead Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We have the whole bible . Try reading the book of proverbs for wisdom.

The reason is because His purpose was not to be a great teacher, but God's vehicle for the salvation of humankind.

The gospels were written to record who Jesus was, and why He was here. Not to dispense nuggets of wisdom like a fortune cookie.

John 21:25 But there are also many other things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

Probably because most of the good stuff was already said by the prophets before Jesus ever showed up on the scene.

I guess after 4100 years talking about it God figured the hairless apes would only learn through demonstrations.
