As someone who has been taking Buprenorphine for two years now, I can tell you that you will probably go through withdrawal if you go down from 14 mg to 10 mg. How severe the withdrawal depends largely on your body's chemistry.

A better bet is 2mg per week.

Your BEST choice is, as another person advised, to be honest with your physician. If he is ethical, he will not just yank the medication away but will work with you to bring you down safely. Buprenorphine withdrawal is absolute H@LL.

You have to come clean and tell your counsellor and doctor. These people are trying to help you and cant do that successfully if you are not honest with them. For your own and their sakes be honest, its the only way you will succeed.

Good luck

Would've thought 1mg a week, especially as you're getting to quite a crucial stage. Maybe better to be honest. But you're doing well.
