Rent a room, one with a fireplace (depending on where you live) and jacuzzi and enjoy eachothers company. You can make it romantic by getting champagne or wine and candles etc. A bed and breakfast may be a good option for this too, some are very romantic.

Get a couples massage.

Take a day trip somewhere and see what is available that you both can do.

Women love romantic surprises too! Tell her to be ready by a certain time and how she should dress (casual, dress, etc.) Then plan a night at a nice restaurant.

Have a night in, light a few candles, buy some "games" (if you are at that point) and enjoy eachother. Turn the lights off, play soft music and hold her close and dance. A song you would dedicate to her would be nice. If you don't mind, you can even sing it in her ear.

If things don't work out and you are this romantic, call me!!! LOL

Best of luck, you can take those ideas and only make them better. I am sure she will appreciate whatever you do since you put thought into it! Even if it is someone else's ideas, you made the effort to ask!

Don't feel so pressured to be creative, every few weeks take your girl out for the weekend. Stay at a nice hotel near the beach, or take a drive to another city like Las Vegas (but that may not be driving distance for you, but you know what I mean). Have 1 big trip every year. Go somewhere nice like Greece, Italy or Hawaii. The anticipation will be fun because you will get to talk about it.
***Budget***
I double dated with a friend, we blind folded our dates and drove around her neighborhood for 20min and stopped at the McDonald's across the street from her house. We had one of the kids tables by the jungle gym set up really fancy (w/happy meals) and after we took off the blind folds, they started laughing really hard. I was broke, it cost $20 for all 4 of us and that was the best date she, they, I ever had.

How about a trip to Books a Million, or Barnes & Noble (or any bookstore)...you can have fancy coffee or cocoa an a cookie. Then you can browse the many, many books! I have found it to be a fun date! Offer to buy her any book she wants.

Or a trip to the playground/park to swing on the swings. Bring a blanket and you can look at the stars at nite. Pack some PB and J's and juice boxes to bring back the childhood.

Build sandcastles on the beach.

I admire your quest for romance and different ideas! Best of luck! :)
