What benefit (other than avoiding responsibility) do you get by placing blame on God for all the decisions made by man?
Initially, I thought those of you who did it were just mad, but it seems you seriously try to hold God responsible for Man's decision to use certain drugs to kill babies (ref. the abortion question earlier), the decisions to start a war (which is done to cover up malicious acts done by man), and other things (parents killing kids, loss of loved ones, being homeless, greed, murders, and slothful living).
No one can justify God doing this. He tells us the same thing he told Cain years back... "If you do good then good things will happen. If you do not do good, sin is waiting to devour you."
MAN chose not to do good, hince bad things are happening. Plain and simple, Simple and plain.
***The crazy thing about it is that the good things God bless us with (medicines, technology, health, clean water, shelter, forgiveness) are being taken for granted.

As far as the issue with Eve is concerned, full consideration of the story has not been thought out. "sansfear" states it's God's fault because Eve was in the garden and the tree was in the garden... (For the women) this is man's fault because God warned Adam of the dangers of eating the fruit. It was Adam's responsibility to maintain watch over Eve. Also, "temptation" (as 'sansfear' stated) didn't enter the picture until SATAN came. So, either way you look at it, God cannot be blamed. We have freedom of choice.
Fast forward to modern times... We have the ability to bring peace to earth, to heal all illnesses, to prevent poverty from striking anyone. But we choose not to. Instead, MAN chooses to be greedy, to hord wealth, and bully others. If someone 'offends' us, we rather shoot them than talk it over. Why? Because Man has fallen for Satan's temptation of living off of our emotions and lust and greed.
All that God has warned us about.

TO: "YDoncha …" and others like yourself.
I purposefully typed the question's title that way to see who would make a big deal out of it. This question is for those "who don't believe, but like to blame..." Your reply is proving that these type of individuals exist.

Thank you for question and statement. You are right on. They should be blaming man not God. Free will, everyone has it and it's our down fall.

ummmmmm;....
medicines, technology, health, clean water, shelter were provided by science.
In blaming God, we are trying to highlight the inconsistencies as presented bye your faith. I personally don't know if God exists or not, but if he does, then he does have allot of explaining to do. You might blame mankind for Sin, but if you read the story of the fall of man you will find a real problem. We held responsible for Eve's sin of eating the fruit of knowledge. In doing so, she was able to determine right from wrong. God allowed that tree to exist in the Garden, and Eve didn't have a knowledge of good and evil prior to eating the fruit. Therefore she was put in a position of having temptation, without the ability to discern right from wrong.
God put her in that situation. And as a result of that temptation, we are now experiencing all the bad things that you mention we blame God for. How is it not his fault?
If I put a nuclear detonator in a toddlers room, and tell them not to push the button, is the toddler responsible when the city disapears? That is essentially what you are saying by stating that mankind is to blame for sin. God introduced it through Eve. He may not have shoved the apple down her throat, but he put her in a position where she was being tempted, and didn't have the ability to discern right from wrong. How is it her fault that she ate the apple? How is it mine? If your book is true, then your God set mankind up for disaster, and planned on creating countless humans bound for hell.
It is just the facts.....Sorry if the answer is a bit on the rough side, but it is what I believe.

"What benefit (other than avoiding responsibility) do you get by placing blame on God for all the decisions made by man?"
Oh, I don't know...THE ALL-KNOWING/FOREKNOWLEDGE thing?????
"No one can justify God doing this." I just did.
"He tells us the same thing he told Cain years back... "If you do good then good things will happen. If you do not do good, sin is waiting to devour you."" As if god didn't create Cain knowing full well he was going to kill Abel and be full of that very sin ...since God didn't have a problem with it (else He wouldn't have created Cain--or Abel), then I ain't got a problem wit' it either. Oh, yeah, I can hear God now...."We--ell, I DIDN'T KNO-OOW! WHAT AM I!? The ALL-KNOWING God???????!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"***The crazy thing about it is that the good things God bless us with (medicines, technology, health, clean water, shelter, forgiveness) are being taken for granted.", Well, it wasn't like God didn't know that long before He invented them....
[What are you guys thumbsdowning??? The only point I am making is "God is All-Knowing"! Do you really want to argue/explain that to God Himself????]

Why do you say the bads things people cause are their own fault but then all the good things that we are responsible for are God's blessings? That's a load of bull. Also, how does someone who doesn't believe put the blame on something they don't believe exists?

I agree! People just like to do the opposite. They to be bad and do bad things b/c its kool to do that. For example, u never see or hear of a person being addicted to healthy food such as apple or banana and water but many people are addicted to drugs, alcholo, unhealthy food etc.

I will say it again....external locus of control. Even you are guilty of it. You are placing what affects you outside of your control. People are always responsible for their choices, whether the choices bring on bad or good consequences. God does not play a part in either.

You must have gotten something wrong here. People who don't believe in a god will obviously not blame any god for anything.
On the other hand, of course you can blame god-believers for certain crimes and atrocities, since certain crimes and atrocities are committed in the name of a god. But of course, they are still committed by humans.

People who don't believe in God(s) do not blame God(s). That's ridiculous. Atheists and Agnostics associate people who do believe in God(s) as harmful through there experiences and history.

Well, you're not talking about me because God doesn't exist, but there are those who think he does who use God to justify some pretty wicked acts. You need to speak to them about that.

Just think about what youre asking for a second, brah (if youre actually asking anything - this is more of a rant). If I dont beleive your God exists, why in the world would I blame him for anything? That is completely absurd...
It is you believers who blame God for the mistakes, travesty and ills of the world, not us non-believers. We tend not to blame the devil for our shortcomings, or God for our problems - or victories for that matter.
