Well, Brother, as for your initial question...
Those words can be found in either of the following scriptures:
Matt. 10:14
Mark 6:11
Luke 9:5
As for the rest, I can definitely vibe with you. I just got over feeling that way. I was initially excited to help others inquiring about the bible. I shot to level-3 in a heartbeat. Then I ran into the hecklers. They first brought out the 'tension' in me. I did take some time off. Now, that I've gotten refreshed, I'm willing to deal with them again in order to get a msg to those who may still be searching or curious.
Don't let it get to you bro. If need be, take some time off, but the more answers you leave, the higher the chance someone who may need one of those answers will come across them.
Take care and God bless.

Are you tired of giving them your best just to have them mock you ? and then when your answer them back in kind yahoo erases your answer. Yet Yahoo allows a person to have a photo of a penis as an avatar. In another example another talks mockingly about your mothers juices. Why didn't Yahoo erase THAT. If this isn't an indication of what is running yahoo id don't know what would. In that respect Yahoo has turned this into a sounding board biased for the ungodly. If you are an atheist , or you have a god/s that range from soup to nuts then this is the place for you. If you believe in the God of Abraham your prejudiced against by Yahoo itself. What does this tell you? It is really sad cause some of these atheist are some pretty nice and intelligent people . Most of our problems comes from the prideful ,arrogant ,spoiled brats that just think they are super intelligent.

I don't think the Jesus of Matthew 10:14-15 was Jesus at his best. People who really care about others don't give up so easily. And they certainly don't mark those people's homes for subsequent demolition.
Gandhi was a much better man than the Jesus of that particular scripture.
"Honest differences are often a healthy sign of progress." ~ Mohandas K. Gandhi
"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty." ~ ibid
You cannot always make others act as you want them to. Sometimes the best you can do is be a striking example of how people should act. As for what you perceive as "attacks on your beliefs"--one man's honestly held belief is another man's blasphemy. That's just the way it is when discussing religion. Has it never occurred to you that your calling Jesus God, or the Son of God, is blasphemous to Jews and Muslims? Work on developing a greater respect for diversity of belief.

When Jesus attended a party at Mathew the tax collectors house this confused both Peter and Judas Iscariot. To explain his action he stated "A physician does not visit the healthy." At this party he met Mathew (Gospel Writer) Mary Magdalen, and Joseph of Aramaic.
My point is do not let swine effect your own value of your pearls, but it does no good to preach to the choir. Continue to spread the Word as best as you can. Like the scattered mustard seed some will land on rocks, and some in fertile ground.

Hu ha! very good question indeed but do not forget the verse that when 2 or more are gathered in my name i shall be in your midst. your faith(I'm not a Cristian) when properly studied and followed is a power full force. let me make 2 suggestions first ride out your desperation and see if God has a plan for it second Idea is to take a break and really study the bible and try putting it all together. I'm willing to bet I know more of the bible than you this is why I choose to defend Christianity and help Christians in need like your self

I was just thinking the same thing last night and you're right satan would love that.
There are some people who are truly seeking answers and we shouldn't allow others to stop that.
Sometimes that's what is wrong with christians we get in a comfort zone and when someone says something that offends us we want to run and hide.
Jesus never gave up on me and i'm not going to give up on Him,
This is open q & a's .
consider this a kind of ministry to reach the lost.

You are right, Satan would only receive the victory from us leaving and not posting God's word! It is hard to be here and be attacked by our believes and faith! But, God has warned us in the bible about these people. They are ultimately, unknowingly, doing God's work. We are called to preach the truth to the masses. That is why I stay! I pray for these poor deceived people. I pray for their lost souls. Also, this is probely the only place most of them hear the gospel. That is why we must stay and glorify God.
Also, to those Christians who get on here and attack others, call them names, and just act stupid....STOP! You are helping to spread God's world.

I know exactly what you mean. I originally came here thinking that it would be a place where religious minded people would ask and answer serious questions of one another in an attempt to learn. What I've found here are that most of the questions being asked are by atheists or otherwise non-religious people. So many questions are just meant to mock and ridicule people of faith. It seems many times that you are casting your pearls before swine. Very disheartening. I think it could be a great board if it was stringently moderated and the rules were followed.

When you declare that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you are witnessing. When you tell people about the life, sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus, you are proclaiming the gospel. Never stop. Some people will be effected. Some will not. You are to tell them, the Holy Spirit convicts them and Jesus Saves them. You never know who might listen. Please don't be discouraged.
No one in the town wanted to hear what Jesus had to say. If you are speaking to someone on a one on one situation and they don't want to talk to you, then leave them alone.

That would make satan dance with joy because that is one more time he could go up to heaven and laugh in the face of God and say, "I told you so", just like he wanted to do with Job. Only leave after you have prayed and ask the Lord to show you what to do. Remember, if only one believes, it will all be worth it.
