I have three bridesmaids and no maid of honor. I have three really good friends and did not want to offend anyone by selecting only one as the maid of honor. Two of them are ok with this, one is not. I am not changing my mind on the subject, but I would like to get them all something special to show them appreciation. BM#1, is a new mom and we are very similar, she is slightly younger than me. BM#2, is a lot younger than I am, she brings out my crazy fun side. BM#3, is the same age as I am, she is more reserved.
Any ideas? Please help!

The best 2 gifts I have ever received from the bride in a wedding in which I was either a maid of honor or a brides made are:

A pearl necklace - It does not have to be real pearls. Fashion jewelry is just as great this days.

A round silver case with two mirrors inside - I was given to me in a suede bag and it is very nice. All women like to carry at least one mirror in their purses. Why not make it a real nice and fancy silver one.

Good Luck

I wanted them to have something that would be useful to them long after the wedding was over, so I got Boat n Tote Bags from LL Bean for each of my girls (2 BMs, 2 MOHs) - the medium size works great for this, and I preferred the ones with the longer handles and the zippered top. In each one, I included a handmade Swarovski Crystal and silver bracelet - each one was a little different, and I put a tiny silver star charm on then since theme of the wedding was stars

I found this AWESOME pink and silver frame that was perfect for one of my BMs, then lucked out and found three more frames, each perfect for the person they were intended for. I did an insert for each frame with the girl's name and a quote that fit our relationship or them. At the bottom of the sheet, I put that it was good for one 5x7 of their choosing from the wedding pictures. they LOVED it

Navy Pashmina to match Dress - which they actually didn't need to use since the weather was so warm!

For my flower girl, I picked up an inexpensive canvas tote at Michaels and stenciled her name and a giant flower on the sides. Inside, I put a handmade pearl bracelet for her, plus some books and other goodies. She was thrilled that she got a bag like "the big girls" and she still uses it to carry her books around it.

I have a wedding accessory, favor, invitation and gift business. All of these are cute ideas, just depends on your budget. Many brides do the necklace/earrings along with a monogrammed tote or purse. The standard of jewelry always works...to me, the girls all wearing the same necklace, etc with their dresses just looks nicer that different jewelry. I would be glad to help any way I can! http://abridalaffair.home.att.net. I can order hundreds of other items that may not be seen on my links. Best Wishes!

It sounds like you want to get them all something different. You could...
I am engaged myself and also pondering what gifts to give my bridesmaids.
I am considering sterling silver jewelry from Tiffany & Co., or possibly some very good replicas, either engraved keychains, or the sterling silver initial pendants.
A gift certificate to a spa is always a great idea. The new mom would probably love that b.c. she probably doesn't get much pampering having to tend to the new baby all the time.
Best of luck!

What I did for my girls was this: Each girl received earrings and Chinese slippers to wear at reception. Then I personalized baskets for each girl. I did the baskets based on their favorite thing's to do. For instance my friend loves to watch movies so I bought her a movie and slippers and popcorn & candy, the next girl loved to read so I bought a book, an oversized mug with herbal teas and fuzzy socks. The next girl loved getting her nails done so I put together a spa pedicure basket w/ lotions, polish and toe rings. The last girl stumped me becausde all I could think of was her love of summer and swimming so I bought her sunless tanner, an ocean breeze candle a cd of ocean waves so on. My girls really appreciated the thought I had put into their gifts. I thought it was unique.

My Maid of Honor collects cup & saucer sets. So for my wedding my MOH (I didn't have any brides maids) got a cup & saucer set she'd been eyeing when we were out together once. It made her happier than anything else I could have given her.

When my sister got married, she bought each of her bridesmaids earrings. They were all the same and they matched our dresses perfectly.

For the "maid of honor" thing....don't give them the title. Line them up how YOU want them. Again, my sister kind of did this--she lined us up according to who we would be walking with. The girl with a problem with that needs to get over herself---it's your big day, not hers.

For my cousin's wedding she found these cute gift bags with frames on the front you can put pictures in. In those you can put jewelry for the wedding, each or their favorite candy/snacks, a gift card to their favorite store or restaurant, etc. Depending on how well you know their likes.

I would get each of them something different, but slightly similar - but each present could be personalized to each of them. Something from "Things Remembered" is always good.

Congrats on getting married!
