I need to upgrade my amp and subs. i want pioneers. but they dont say rms wattage they say nominal power handeling, i am assuming that is the same thing though. What is a good setup that is not going to cost an extreme amount, i need two subs i already have a box

nominal wattage and rms are the same. as for a good setup, get the size that you need to fit your box, and get what ever is in your budget. you already said that you wanted pioneers, which are good, so get what you can afford... trust me, you'll get what you pay for, that's all

Best budget woofers that i know of are from www.tcsounds.com. that tc-1000 is a bad a*s woofer, and its only $120. pretty cheap. also you might want to look on ebay for some Pioneer Premier 3000SPL. there only like $100 a pop, and if i remember right have a 800 watt rms.

good luck.

rms and nominal power handling is the same thing. get 2 306-c's 12" subs and a 2 ohm 800w mono block amp.
