This could be a scratch on the eye itself. You could try an antibiotic that is available at most larger pet stores, Terramycin. If not better in 24 hrs, see a vet.

I have a sharpei and she has had conjunctivitis in her eye as well. I would say let it run its course like when humans get it but also take a baby wipe or some other kind of wipe that is not harmful to the dog and wipe around the eye and kind of flush it out if ur able to do that... then if it doesn't clear up pretty soon take ur dog to one of the less expensive clinics because there is no sense in paying a high vet bill for them just to tell u something u already know.

Sounds like a minor eye injury rather than conjunctivitis. A washcloth with warm water into which you have dissolved 1 tsp. of Epsom salts, should be used to clean away pus; at least three times a day. Then you should put an antibiotic such as bacitracin on it....just barely a little in the corner. Should be fine in matter of days. Good luck and God bless

She may have incurred an injury from the fight.Or she may have something in it like a speck of dirt or something. Look for these possibilities but if you think it is conjunctivitis you need to get an eye antibiotic from the vet to clear it up.It will not clear up on its own and could cause damage to the eye sight.

Conjunctivitis is a bacterial infection which needs to be cured with antibiotic drops. Depending on where you live you may be able to get them in a pet store, but chances are you need to take your dog to the vet.
Good luck

You may need an antibiotic but until you can get to the vet use warm compresses to draw it out and wipe it away.

Warm wet washcloth. Don't wipe too hard and don't make the water too hot. Try to get to a vet soon.

if it's conjunctivitis (or any other type of eye infection) your vet can get you an appropriate eyedrop; they're not expensive.
