I never bought ground beef before (I know, I know, how sad). I was thinking of making some sort of pasta and beef dish with cheese. MMM, I have shredded 4 Cheese. Maybe a casserole? I don't know. Any ideas, suggestions, and/or recipes that you may want to share with me including pasta and ground beef? THANKS!

Start browing ground beef in a sauce pan or frying pan
Add 1 can of tomato sauce and sprinkle genrously with all purpose seasoning ( I use Adobo, about 1/2tbsp per one pound of beef)
Take half a medium onion
half a green bell pepper
5 cloves of garlic (crushed or minced)
You can mix these in a food processor or add them to your meat finely chopped
Cook meat til completely browned
Boil pasta according to package directions
(you can make the whole box & have left overs)
add 1 jar of spaghetti sauce, any kind you like mix all ingredient together and sprinkle with cheese when serving

It's fast, easy and absolutely delicious!

This recipe calls for shredded Cheddar, but the 4 cheese blend should work just fine

Ground Beef Casserole

1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes
2 teaspoonsWorcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups corn kernels, or 1 can (15 ounce), drained

1/4 cup flour
1 green bell pepper, chopped
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups shredded sharp or mild Cheddar cheese

Mix well

Brown 1 lb ground beef
Add one can (or 1/2 pound fresh) mushrooms

Add the ketchup/mustard water mix

Bring to a boil

Add 10-12 oz macaroni

Cook on a slow boil (medium/low) for about 15 mins till thickened

Add one pound velveta. (you could add your 4 cheese mix)

Serve with mixed veggies on side.

Is very simple and your hubby will love it!

Baked Ziti

Ingredients

Sauce
3/4 pound 81% lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 large garlic cloves, chopped
1 28-ounce can diced peeled tomatoes
1/4 cup purchased pesto sauce

Pasta
10 ounces ziti or penne pasta, freshly cooked
8 cups ready-to-use spinach leaves [about 2/3 of 10-ounce package]
6 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
Heat heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add beef, onion and garlic and sauté until beef is cooked through, breaking up meat with back of spoon, about 10 minutes. Add tomatoes with juices to pan. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Stir in pesto. Season sauce with salt and pepper. [Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Bring to simmer before continuing].

Preheat oven to 375° F.
Lightly oil 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Combine pasta, spinach, mozzarella and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese in large bowl. Stir in hot tomato sauce. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish. Sprinkle remaining 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese over. Bake until sauce bubbles and cheeses melt, about 30 minutes.
