I wonder if you are craving and the chocolate or if you're craving the carbohydrates that are in it. You say you have a terrible sweet tooth, so I'm betting on the fact that you're actually craving the sugar content. Have you tried natural sugars like fruit-based snacks? They might help you curb your cravings. If you're craving this stimulant components that chocolate has, maybe some chocolate flavored coffee with something like Splenda or NutraSweet might take the edge off for you. If this continues to be a problem, I think I would recommend that you talk to a nutritionist or dietitian. There might be some herbal remedies that I don't know about either. I would imagine you're not alone in your problem! Good luck to you!

I feel the same exact way. I love chocolate too! I know what you mean, after eating a meal I just dont feel satisfied until i have something sweet. The bad part is I can literally eat alot of chocolate at one time & I will fine and not full. Im currently not eating chocolate, well pure chocolate that is because of Lent and it is killing me. However, I still eat sweet stuff like cake and cookies as long as it doesnt contain chocolate chips or pure chocolate. My advice to you is just gain some self control and start minimizing the amount of chocolate you eat. After a few days just stop completely that's the only way it works for me. Also, get yourself checked out if you have diabetes it might be a sign from your body telling you that you need that much sugar. Hope this helps.

I know the feeling, i also get these intense chocolate cravings. There are a few things I have found that are lower in calorie and fat and are delicious and take care of the craving. Chocolate covered fruit is my absolute favorite. Make your own with a good brand of dark chocolate and use strawberries cherries, banana, anything you would like. ( the dark chocolate is more satisfying). Those sugar free fudgsicles are also really good, they are only about 40 calories per popsicle. Also, when I was in college I used to freeze dark chocolate hershey bars and would eat one square each day after dinner (very slowly). Its really good.
I personally like milk chocolate, but I found that it took less dark chocolate to satisfy sweet tooth.

while you're eating a 'severe high quality dark chocolate' (approx 60-seventy 5% cocoa) you will possibly have the skill to 'minimize' your intake lots ... what you're 'yearning' in the chocolate is the 'antioxidants' and the 'gentle stimulant' because of the fact they the two make you 'sense greater effective' ... try getting some Ghirardelli dark choclate in 'great squares' ... they're in my view wrapped, and there are 4 squares in a 'serving' ... and that they incorporate some 'added flavors' ... i admire the 'coffee' and the 'Mint' maximum suitable, yet you are able to desire yet another. consume in elementary terms 4 and then try 'mendacity down' and relaxing for awhile ... you will possibly be 'downing handfuls' out of habit, somewhat than a 'genuine yearning' ... yet once you do try this, eating 4 squares (one serving) shouldn't 'upload that many energy' and you are able to regard them as 'needed drugs' once you come across out how 'sturdy' they make you sense. it is likewise a 'time-commemorated certainty' that eating chocolate once you have PMS or are on your era can 'relieve' the worst warning signs, so all you are able to desire to do is 'shrink your intake' to a greater sensible volume, no longer 'stop' completely.

Eat some chocolate laxatives, it will make you sick. Once you get sick a few times, you will not want to even smell or see anything chocolate.
