That probably is depression, and probably not a very nice way of living. You should see a councilor or a therapist, to help you get through. Maybe you should spend more time with you friends or family, to get your mind off the depression. Stop thinking about how your life will end, because eventually, thinking about this, will be how your life ends. Stay calm, and visit these links:

Yes! Actually, I don't anymore. But, about 3 years ago, I could have been asking this question. I actually took myself to the emergency room one night because I thought I was going to die. I thought I had a brain tumor or something. Well, depression can absolutely make you feel this way. Just be sure that it only has to be temporary. You can really get over it. I suggest finding a doctor that you like and trust, and visiting regularly. Explore all areas that are bothering you, so you can find some reassurance that you're not going to die. Maybe the doctor will prescribe you an anti-depressant. Cymbalta is an anti-depressant that helps with your mood and also with physical manifestation of pain. You'll have to force yourself to think positively and do things you don't want to do. Start exercising, and I guarantee you'll feel better. You're just in a mental slump. You're focusing on all the small, negative things, making everything look bleak. Remind yourself of all the positives and work towards whole body health, along with a professional, and you'll be just fine, and remember all of this as a phase! Good luck.

What reasons do you have to believe that you have a desease? Has anyone else in your family died from any of the deseases you're worried about? Usually that's hereditary. Do you smoke? Drink? Do drugs? Any of those things that alter the mood will of course make your mood go back down when those things are not present. It'll stay like that again until your chemicals stabalize. Take a vitamine, drink some water, watch a pick me up movie (watch the black stallion, it's long enough to take your mind off of things, and has a good ending) Eat some fruit, you should be ok. I'm sad all the time too. I excercise and eat ok, but I still get mood swings and stress, but I have a lot to be stressed about. I hope you feel better. Smile. Don't worry. Be Happy, read the book from the Dali Llama called "a book on dying" or read, "the death of Ivan Illych" by tolstoy.

I used to feel like that all the time. For a couple years. I'm still a bit of a hypochondriac, too, but not as much.
You are on a road to death because you will die eventually. But that doesn't mean it will be anytime soon. (I'm guessing you're young like teens or 20s.)
It might be the depression making you worry excessively about things that may not be jeopardizing your health. I think the best way to attack that is to see a doctor and get a check up. If you still worry, see you doctor again, but this time for a referral to someone in the mental health field if you don't already see someone. It can be especially problematic if your worries are irrational, but if you have a lump that grows you probably have reason to worry. But if you have no lump and still worry about skin cancer, well, talk to someone that can give you more professional advice.
You don't have to live with excessive worrying and you can battle it and win. Even just sitting down and deciding what's worth worrying about might help.

When your pain outweighs your ability to cope with the pain, you feel depressed. Even happy people walk around all day like that too, they just don't feel it; they cope so well, it just passes them by; but the same situation to someone else would be detrimental.
Yes you are dieing, inside. Your body is probably fine though(disclaimer, bla, bla). Best thing you can do is look around and find things that make you happy, and do them, or get them ect..
I do believe that's why there are so many selfish people in the world though, they live consumed with this sadness, so they are continuously looking to fulfill their happiness by only seeing themselves and taking care of themselves first. It's a vicious endless cycle, and they continuously need more. It never helps and they are always unhappy.
If you really want it to go away, take care of others, love someone, and make someone else happy. Then you can feel fulfilled.

It's anxiety that makes you feel this way. Depression and anxiety feed off of one another and it's an awful mix. You need to seek professional help to overcome this, believe me, so many people have/had the same experience and it can be devastating and there's lots of help available. Therapists are well versed in this area, seek their professional advice so you can get on with your live. Consider a full physical with your doctor, have him order a blood workup to rule out any physiological problem. This may help with your anxiety, too, just to know you are healthy can be of comfort. Bless your heart, so sorry you're having a difficult time. Take care and hope you feel better soon.

I have severe depression and have been in the boat you are in. I think the thinking something is really wrong is your depression talking and putting out there that you might really want to die. I went thru that and it wasn't fun. I would like to see you go to a psychiatrist if you can and get an eval for depression and started on meds. That will make all the difference in the world. If you can't afford a psych. look in the phone book for mental health providers. Most areas have a govt. sponsored mental health dept. If you can't find one in the phone book call your local ER. they have phone numbers for everything and can help you out. Good luck.

Without being a rude person, I suggest you seek therapy and a doctor's visit dear...People get depressed when they're bored with life or stressed out over it. Tell them what you've been feeling, there's nothing anybody on the internet can do to help you...
I would suggest going on a relaxing trip somewher or even moving to a new place....doing something drastic to make yourself feel like you can actually breathe freely. Pick up a new hobbie...If these things don't cure depression DEFINITLY seek therapy.

I would have to say that it does sound like depression. Been there myself, when you're feeling that down it really is a good idea to go see your doctor. It really helps quite a bit and gets you feeling better in no time at all. Try to have a good day... even when things seem like they are at there worst, remember you've been given one more day... thats one more day to find help or change something in your life to make it better.

The only times I thought I was going to die was when having a panic attack. You might have anxiety as well. Do you ever feel like your going to die right that moment? That's a panic attack. See a psych. If you can't afford it go to a free clinic.
