Dang, this'll cost me 5 points, but, I have to find out!?

Is it true that in the hadith of Mohammad, where he speaks about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, that :

1] Jesus will renounce that He is the Son of God?
2] He'll recite the shahadah?[In other words, convert to Islam]??
3] He'll renounce Christianity???
4] He'll renounce that He was a Prophet and announce that Mohammad is the True Prophet and His Master?????

I'd read this hadith, long ago and did not remember seeing anything remotely like this there!?

Does anyone have the reference to the original hadith, please?

Why are Muslims saying things like this here?

I used to think that Mohammad, despite all other things, was a great fan of Jesus!

Am I wrong?

Does Islam really denigerate the status of Isa, al Massihe, to a secondary position, under Mohammad?

I really need to know the Truth!

As Christians do, Muslims also believe in the return of Jesus the Messiah to earth, although his role and reason for his return does differ from what the Christians propose. He will return to earth first and foremost to prove his mortality and refute the false beliefs people held about him. He will live a normal life, marry, and also die as any other human. At that point, the matter will be clear concerning him, and all people will have believed that he was truly mortal.

Jesus will also fight the false Christ, who will call people to the belief that he is God, and who will appear just before he returns. Jesus will defeat the antichrist, and all people will accept the true religion of God. The world will see a type of peace and serenity unfelt in history, all worshipping the same God, subservient to Him alone, and at peace with one another.

I think this is the Hadith you mean, although it doesn not say that Jesus will say that he is the son of God. Muslims believe that he is a prophet, not a son of God:

Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my life, the son of Mary (may peace be upon him) will soon descend among you as a just judge. He will break crosses kill swine and abolish Jizya, and the wealth will pour forth to such an extent that no one will accept it. (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1, p. 92).

He will not convert to Islam because he is already Muslim. Muslims believe that his message was to state that there is not God but Allah, but people changed the belief and decided that he was the son of God and worshipped him instead.

Hope this answers your questions.

As lengthy as your questions are sincere and honest in searching for capabilities, no Muslim can be angry via ANY query you want to invite. There is not anything to cover relating to our ideals which come from God. To reply your query, It will get all the way down to the basis of Islam that is the scripture or the Quran. If the basis is sound, then what that faith teaches is sound and we will think the whole lot it teaches us. With regards to Jesus, the Quran tells us that Jesus was once a high-quality prophet born to a high-quality lady and and not using a father. Because we think the Quran is the actual unchanged and uncorrupted scripture from God, then we all know what it says approximately Jesus and the entire different high-quality prophets to be precise as good as the whole lot else it says. The Christianity we all know in these days was once licensed within the fourth century via the council of Nicea. The variation of Christianity which was once permitted on the council was once the variation propagated via Saul or Paul as he's mentioned within the Bible. Another variation of Christianity along side the gospels that supported it which additionally taught Jesus to be a high-quality prophet and NOT a God was once rejected via the council after which outlawed. Hope this is helping.

i'd give you the exact hadith if my books weren't all wrapped up and i don't trust these online searches for hadiths.
i do know that jesus will come and it will be him who kills the ad-dajjal who i think is the anti-christ. then everyone one earth will become believers-as in everyone will blv in Allah the one true God. after that i think everyone dies because of a sweet smell and what's left on earth is the really really bad people and animals. then the trumpets called and the day of judgement begins. this i think is the gist of it.

1. Jesus will renounce that he is the son of God because he isn't the son of God!
2. He is a muslim already-he blvs in the one true God and His msg.
3. in the Qur'an it states that the only religion to be accepted by God is Islam, so definitely!!!
4. well we as muslims blv that the Bible mentions that Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and that Jesus specifically mentioned him by name-ahmad.

Prophet Muhammed is a prophet just like Jesus. But he is the last prophet of God on earth and so is given preferential treatment. It was he who was given the final religion of islam and the Qur'an which is a miracle of God.
God has chosen Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) as the greatest being that ever lived. We as muslims live by this and respect all the other prophets that came before him.

It's false because he wouldn't renounce that he was a Prophet. He will probably announce that Muhammad (pbuh) was the Last Prophet, but not "the" Prophet.

And no, Isa (pbuh) is on the same level as Muhammad.

If you want to know the truth then Read the Quran...I don't read the Hadiths as I know they have been tainted by man....
Gods words are in the Quran and mans words are in the Hadiths...The Hadiths are other peoples "opinions" on the Quran and what they "think" is right...This is where it says that "Allah DEMANDS his women cover their hair and face." No where in the Quran does it say this...
This was Mans interpretation of it all...
