ok, i've posted a similar question but i've deleted that. I've finally got my boyfriend to talk about why he has initiated a break up just because i commented that swimming would be better than gym workout. yes, unbelieveable and stupid it may sound, he did that to me. the detailed happenings goes like this, sorry for being long winded...
my bf has been visiting the gym on a daily basis recently cause he wanna tone his body up. and as we were talking about it over text massages, i carelessly commented that i feel swimming would be a better toning exercise. it may not be true, but as i've said... it was just a careless and unimportant comment. but he blew up over it. and he was like, "did i ask for your opinion? i'm the one doing the workout and i dont need your stupid opinions!" i was truly shocked and hurt by his sudden outburst over the issues of merely swimming and gym! and so i replied, "i was just saying what i feel. you dont have to take it to heart. if you had a bad day,

you still shouldn't shift all your anger onto me!" but immediately after texting him that, i felt that i was too harsh and i texted him again to apologise. but the only reply i got from him was,"from this minute onwards, we've nothing else to do with each other. you dont have to try to call me or whatsoever. I'd never answer your calls or reply your messages nor see you again."
well, this is not the first time he has threatened me like this. let me see, this should be the 5th or 6th times he has threatened to break over such silly issues. and he has even said stuff like, "I like to threaten to break just because i'm pissed. do you have a problem with that?"
can someone tell me how to handle him? frankly speaking i still do like him and i have no wish to end our r/s of half a year.

This man sounds as though he was looking for moments and excuses to leave you anyways...especially with his petty little outbursts of non importance babe. If this is the little stuff that enrages him accordingly?....what's gonna happen when the really important stuff comes up reasonably? I say why twitter with a man that has no self composure under the lights of his own query. Shoot him out the door babe...he ain't worth the time and trouble you'll have to endure to put up with his babyish antics anyways. He's a child in a mans body hun. Boyishness is ok when presented properly...but not the hot headed behavior he's exemplifying anyways. He's a lunatic reasonably darling. Drop him off at the next exit...will ya? Sorry about having to be so blunt...but he deserves nothing more then "goodbye" from you seriously. Who's got the time to retrain him seriously?......not you!

An early morning cup of coffee on the front porch My abode cat greeting me on the door at my return. finding a clean flower blooming in my backyard finding a treasure at a storage or backyard sale a sort notice and a grin from somebody making a card and stickers for my 2 year. old granddaughter and understanding she will love getting some thing of her very own in her mailbox i think those issues must be called trivial, yet they're important to me. Little issues make me chuffed. <3

Here is my opinion. Maybe it is best that you two did break up. Imagine you two got together-married-and he blew up over things like the flower arrangements and such. Think about it. I mean, I personally swimming is a great form of exercising. Great for the arms, chest, leg muscles. There was nothing wrong with your observation that swimming-to you-was a great form of exercise. And to have him blow up over something that trivial makes one question to how would he react to other "trivial" like comments, opinions and such. Do you need that? Do you want to have an argument about something that stupid and non sensical? I think he did you a favor by breaking up with you and you need to thank GOD (or whomever you pray to-if you do) and find someone else who is not breaking up with someone over a suggestion over the fact swimming was a good form of fitness.

Sounds like he has muscle aches already from too much gym activities,
He should just go to the gym every other day or he may get burnt out or is he?
Just ignore his silly comments, and tell him you think he should not work out so hard.
