Bottled salsa is high in acid and will stay for quite a long time after it's been opened, at leat the good stuff. But go with your nose. If it doesn't smell like the fresh ingredients that comprises it, pitch it. Better safe than sorry.

fresh salsa if you are not using any kind of preservatives or if you are not using proper canning methods that the quality diminishes by the hour. I would not want to let a (fresh) batch go for more than a day or two at the very most.Make certain that the container you are using is clean, has an air tight lid and place in the fridge immediately after making.
And the Bought stuff should last 2 weeks or so.

fresh salsa would probably only keep for a few days. store-bought salsa will keep a lot longer because of the preservatives. I would assume probably a few months.

I AM NOT SURE BUT IT WAS HOME CANNED IN A JAR AND STILL SMELLS FRESH ITS A COUPLE WEEKS

like a week then it turns all soggy and thats if you made it fresh. I ate some this morning. ugh just about threw up.
