"there is not anyone else, i don't want anyone else." Should you take it seriously? There are just so many guys that give lines. We have been seeing each other casually. Well it came out yesterday that neither one of us is seeing anyone else. Part of me really wants to believe him and the other does not.

The only reason I don't want to believe him is he has been real hesitant to commitment.

It's a good idea to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
You can't convict a person of a crime until they are proven guilty. This best kept in mind with all situations. It's hard when you've been hurt and you might have to tell yourself this a million times as you start to think that way, but keep reminding yourself.

You must assume that everything a guy tells you is a lie, until he proves otherwise. You can go out with him, have fun with him, and even sleep with him; but it all has to be done on your terms. Why? Because men are consumate liars and if you trust everything they say, you'll end up with a heartache.

Many a woman has been fooled by the "there is not anyone else, i don't want anyone else" game. Only time will tell if he really means this, or if he's trying to speed up the process of getting you in bed. Enjoy his company but keep your eyes and ears open. If you want to sleep with the guy, do it because you choose to and not because you've walked into a trap that will devestate you later.

Always remember that when you're dealing with a man, only believe what you know to be the truth, such as his name (if you've seen his driver's license).

Has he given you any reason not to believe him? There are to many man haters out there. If you don't see any red flags and you start to spend more time with him. The trust will grow. I'm not saying to be dumb about this but you might have just taken the next step towards a real relationship. Good luck

The majority men want to have as many women as possible, that is the unfortunate natural fact. However, you can only know yourself how well you trust your man. It may well be true that there isn't anyone else, but never believe anyone who says they don't want anyone else. That is Hollywood stuff that goes against every instinct of Nature :)

You need to trust your insticts and pay attention to his actions, they speak louder than words! If he is busy a lot of Saturday nights with work, or you can't get a hold of him, or he has very quick conversations on his cell when you are there, maybe he wasn't telling the truth. Many guys are honest and mean what they say, so give him a chance.

The problem with a new relationship is that both of you are probably seeing someone else....I mean before my gf and I made it official we were still dating other folks....now that we are an item, well things change, well at least I think it did. Good Luck.

If you dont trust him, dont try to start anything until you have resolved that feeling. Lack of trust in any relationship will never last........ You may try to spend more time with him, to see if you can trust him or not. So are you going to date exclusively now since you guys are only seeing each other? Go for it and see...what do you have to loose?

Peace............

Does he give you any reason to doubt him? Talk to him..ask where he would like to be in 5 yrs....talk to him about your dreams, there is always risk when with affairs of the heart. Always trust your gut. Good luck
