no..
women and men will never be equal.. they are 2 different animals.. you can not compair them.. it is like asking if a cat and a dog are equal....they are different animals..
while both humans they think and act differently under all things...
this doesnt mean 1 is better than the other.. it means they can not be equal no way to judge them, people make the mistake in trying to judge them. men and women can do the same things.. but both have strong points and weak points..

In some ways some women are superior, in some ways some men are superior, in some ways some men and some women are equal.
There is no way to answer that question without generalizing.
My wife and I are both educated and both bring home nice paychecks. She is better at the finances than I am and I am a better cook. I consider her my equal.

Of course not. There are countless differences between men and women, that's why we have a different word for each.
But they certainly should have equal rights.
And I hope the people saying women are superior realise how incredibly sexist that is.

Physically? Of course not. Women aren't as strong as men...men don't have the same pain threshold that women have. .
Men by and large, might have math skills down pat but they're linear thinkers.
Women aren't.
Should women be offered the same opportunities as men and compensated as equals?
A resounding yes.

According to rabbinical tradition, yes.
Eve was taken from the side of Adam and hence was to be considered his equal. Had she been formed from a lower part she would have been Adam's inferior. Had she been taken from a higher part, she would have been Adam's superior. Rather, being taken from the side they were equals and help-mates.
In the New Testament, the instructions Paul gives about women not preaching in the church need to be looked at in reference both to what is said about equal submission of husband and wife to each other in Ephesians 5 as well as the Genesis 2 story just mentioned which clearly shows the idea of equality.

Women have had to put up with at least 6000 years of religious bashing, quite a massive campaign against them, wouldn't you say? We all know where the hate mail and propaganda is coming from. (See old testament) When women began to understand who really is being attacked, there will be plenty of T-R-O-U-B-L-E. A great tribulation such as never was, nor ever will be again. They will be furious with anger, yes indeed! Those theives have stolen her rightful place, those decievers!
When Micheal will stand up for Israel, or Church, or Woman.

Nah women are much better than men at some things and men are much better than women at other things- I wish everyone would stop striving for equality and just strive to be the best they can be as a person- why compare?

God created us equal cause even though Eve sinned first in the Garden of Eden still God held Adam accountable as the head of the co-partnership he created to rule and have dominion over thee earth.
God also took a rib of Adan's through surgery, since Adam was in a deep sleep and closed it up again. And from that rib he created Eve. A better representation of that can be seen in the movie the 5th Element where they had only one surviving gene and created a whole being from it. God fashioned Adam's mate the same way.
In God's eyes in marriage a man and a woman are seen as one. So from this premise a man and a woman can only add to each other and not take away from in their union.
When they are single well each person no matter man or woman has their own strength and weaknesses. Physically man is stronger than a woman. Mentally and psychologically, socially you can debate either way about that too. I always think of them as equals. It's a very subjective question so this is what I think.

All the women I have known have been equal to the task of coping with me.
But I jest.
Yes, I see women as my equal. I acknowledge they have different strengths, and weaknesses, to me, as well as different ways of seeing the world.
These differences, to me, make them wonderful.
Women, my life would be considerably less livable without You.
