To be or not to be shy?

Question

What do you do when you are so shy and the guy that likes you back is so shy...so nothing comes out of it?! I know for a fact that he likes me, and I really like this guy...yet, we are just both too shy to do anything about it. Anyone have any suggestions whatsoever? I am afraid of being rejected even though I know I probably won't be..I just can't help it. Ahh..help please?! (Oh, not that is should matter, but we are both 19 in college and live in the same complex, and we went to high school together...so we know each other pretty well)
