Well, whenever I'm feeling down, a good threeway with my girl and one of her hot friends tends to really give me a lift.
Try It. I'm sure if it doesn't boost his ego, at least it will put a smile on his face.

Remind him of how great of a man he is, if you have known him for a while it should not be hard to point out the good in him. If you are worried of boosting his ego, that alone says allot of who and how important he is. Speak from your heart and the right words will just come out to fit what he needs to hear and boost his ego.

Well, if he is yours you could tell him in detail all the ways that he rocks your world. Put some thought into it...not just - you're cute....you're sweet...blah blah blah. Tell him all the reasons he is special to you and the ten thousand ways he makes you smile. Compliment him when he looks nice or in a certain color...or tell him he looks damn sexy just in sweats. If he's had a recent accomplishment...be excited for him and share your enthusiasm. I think most of the time it's the little things that we as women do that make a guy feel good.

Doing him a few favors in bed always seems to help...make sure he knows he makes you feel amaaaazing, even if it's not true. Guys like to think they're good at whatever, so let him think that. You can help him by giving him compliments and making him feel good about himself

Try having him do stuff for you that you yourself are not able to do. That way he'll feel useful and feel like he has some worth after all.
