what is it exactly, what is it made of? How can I get it if I don't live near a store that will have items like it. Can it be made at home?

Anointing oil is simply Olive oil that has been blessed by a minister, priest, evangalist etc. You can purchase olive oil at your local grocerer. However once it is blessed, it is used as a representation of the Holy Spirit.

Anointing oil is consecrated pure virgin olive oil. It is made sanctified only through the authorized priesthood of God within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
An amount of the oil is placed into a small container, and with the top off the bottle, the oil is consecrated through a private priesthood ordinance.
I carry such a bottle with me all the time.

Anointing oil is olive oil that has been prayed over and sanctified (seperated) for the use of God. Olive oil is used because of its age old use for medicinal qualities and its symbol of peace. But in reality you need nothing more than your prayers and faith to get the job done.

usually anointing oil is usually vigin olive oil, or palm oil, and you can buy it at like a wal-mart, but in order for it to be anointed, a minister, pastor, or somebody like that have to pray over it .

If your a christian, there is no such thing as annointing oil. The is annointing which is oiling up (any Oil, grease) or and there is prayer. If anyone says any different he's trying to sell you something. You are annointed with oil, not with annointing oil.
