Probably a bit over the top....too well known, and gives the wrong impression. Using this piece would be presumptuous on your part. You might search around for some pieces that are not traditional....Purcell Trumpet Voluntary is one. Or get a CD with wedding music on it. There is also a great one by Flor Peeters called Entrata Festiva that is stupendous, not well known, but will blow the top off of any cathedral ---- or anything else for that matter. Peeters has written other things for organ (which can include timpani and trumpet) also that are regal, and perfect for weddings. There is also one by Widor....commonly used. See the organist who is playing your music... all of this would be familiar to most organists....

It is actually a song that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Since many churches use it at Christmas and other rime other than Christmas I would see no problem if used as a recessional. It may be seen as funny though.

Is there some thing which you & your fiance especialy like; or do? My son chosen their recessional track. wonderful guitar track, Tumeni Notes by utilising Steve Morse. My son is a expert guitarist & instructor. basically verify that the church enables despite you pick. ought to envision with them first. some church homes do no longer enable secular track, no count how perfect.
