Yes it will be fine, just make sure you move her to a quiet confined area (noone walking through too often or near a loungeroom or livingroom where it could be noisy) A closet or in a quiet corner or the like is a good choice, just leave the door open so Mum can get in and out etc. Before touching the kittens, rub your hands on Mum to get her scent so that the kittens don't smell too different afterwards as this is how a cat identifies it's young this should avoid upsetting her too much. Don't handle them any more than necessary until they're a little older.

... First thing, does the mother kitty hiss or act agressively when you get near the kittens? If yes, then perhaps you should wait another few days before attempting to move them. If the mama cat thinks her babies are in danger, she may move them to a spot you cannot reach, or even attack them (worst case scenario). I agree with Carole - if mama seems okay with the box (let her sniff it all over), then place the kittens in the box, and slide it back under the bed (making sure there's enough room for mama cat to go in and out). Kittens are one of the cutest things God ever made, so let me wish "Good Luck" with mama and the kittens..! :) ...

You can do this but when you move them , make it a small dark place or the mom may move them again. Most cats have there kittens in a place they think is safe and has that cave effect. But even if mama gets a little upset with the move ,if she likes the new place --she will settle down soon.

It's perfectly fine...But you do need to put the box in a secure location like in a closet or back under the bed. The mother needs to feel her children are protected or she will move them again...You can also get a box with a lid and just cut a hole near the top so the mother can get in and out with relative ease.. They prefer dark hidden spaces...

Yes it is ok but your cat might not be happy, put the towel lined box back under the bed, so that the mom will feel secure

Just make sure that your cat knows where you've put them. Chances are that she will try to move them out of the box to find a safer place for them. Just wait a couple more days.

She may get concerned but take the cues from her. I held my cats kittens the day after they were born. Just let her stay close and keep her food and litter box close by.

PS: Make sure you are feeding the mom kitten food, she needs the extra nutrients.

No. She will move the cats when she is ready. If you move them, she will get mad/confused and she will keep trying to move them in places you will not find them. If you do this too much, she may even kill the kittens. (It has unfortunately happen to me)

I'd set the box up in a closet and bring the mother there when she's not busy. If she sees it as a fit place to raise her babies, she'll move them herself.
