a bright light or something to help take pictures in dark settings. i.e. concerts, clubs, bars.
here is the problem. i've had a few digital cameras, and when i'm trying to take a picture in a dark place, its next to impossible to see the people you are taking a picture of and you basically have to guess if you are aiming correctly and then take the picture.
Any advice?????????

The Nikon DLSR cameras all have an aiming light that comes on for focusing and framing when you go to take a picture where the area is too dark. That (and the quick response when you push the button to take an action photo) are among my reasons for loving that brand.

Of course as a Nikon the lenses are great and the camera is loaded with features. They just came out with D40 model that has it all.

go for a digital camera with a image stabilizer or something equal to that. you can also get one with the option to let you change ISO and shutter settings. that would really help take a picture in low light. if would recommend the Canon SD800IS or S3IS. if youre looking for something with a little more power check out the G7. they all take wonderful pictures plus you cant go wrong with a Canon product.
