Just wondered what us guys can do to make our woman happy

My husband told me the other day that I was a "trophy wife", and it made me feel great.
There are times that he tells me thanks for stupid stuff, like making the bed, etc etc, but at the same time, it is nice to know that all the things that I do for him do not go unnoticed.
I wear the perfume that he likes, so he ought to tell me that it smells good. I wear the dress that he picked out, so he ought to say that I look nice, but when he says something that is totally out of the blue (see above) it makes my heart skip a beat. And then later the same day he told me that he loves me more every day...I felt like a queen.

Flattery.
Try using quotes from Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.
For examlple:
"Hark! What light shines from yonder doorway, it is the East and Juliet (Insert womans name instead) is the Sun.
Put little notes in and around her. In her bag or her jacket pocket, saying something complimentary or something like, "I can't wait to whisper 3 words to you."
If you know Origami, even better. After writing the message, fold the paper into an Origami model. A swan for example with the words "Read Me" on the outside.
If you are good at poetry, write a poem about her, but be careful, if you do it wrong, it might sound a bit naff.
Make her a Romantic meal, candlelight, softmusic and a bottle of her favourite wine.
Make her feel that she's the centre of your attention, whenever she's around. But don't smother her.
It is a fine balance. But if you watch her, she will give some indication when she feels for some TLC.

Knowing how much she is loved.
And it's not just what you say, it's how you say it. My boyf loves me undoubtedly and I can tell by:
a) The way he looks at me when we haven't seen each other for ages.
b) The way he rings me randomly because he wants to hear my voice.
c) The way he looked after me when I was bed ridden with the flu - bought groceries, made sure I ate properly by cooking what ever I fancied/could stomach (within reason!), made honey and lemon drink.
d) His gratitude when I do thoughtful things.
e) His obvious sadness at seeing me upset and likewise his joy, when I'm happy.
Sorry, I can't make it easy for you. I want to be told more than "you look beautiful" etc, it's so cliche and over used.
Making your woman happy shouldn't be a chore, it should come naturally.

I get specious if a guy says "I'm sunning, fantastic, etc" I can see it in there eyes, the way they look, the way they overuse these words and the way they act, that they only tell me what i want to hear.
i hate that so much because it feels like they are playing with you to get what they want. taking me longer to trust them.
A guy who is their to listens to your worries and picks you up on bad days and is not afraid to do or need the same that is better then any words.
a guy was listening to me complain that i had broke out in spots
he said "Ya i can see now you have a few spots but only because you pointed it out but before that i didn't see them because i was only seeing you as you as a whole, not face not breasts, not bum .......................... well now Ive said that I'm looking at them ..........but most of the time i only see the whole.
that meant more to me then saying i was pretty.
if you are a good listener you will always say and do the right things at the right time.
also it builds "Trust" - never lie- big big thing.

My answer is the same as a lot of others: tell her she's beautiful. My bf tells me all the time how beautiful he thinks I am and it makes my heart melt everytime. It never gets old. However, we also like to hear that we're smart, sexy, fun, and interesting.

I get greeted with a hug and a kiss every morning when I wake up, when he gets home, when I go to sleep. I get the odd pinch (not telling where) when he passes me by. These mean a lot to me although sometimes, I get praised that I look nice and sometimes, I look sexy.

That you are a very beautiful sophisticated lady, and no matter what people may do to you you love them regardless and pray that what ever problem they may have will be resolved. You have this peace about you that makes me feel comfortable. I am so comfortable around you that I'm not afraid to be myself.

Being told we're beautiful is good. Just remember, it is good to compliment us, but only say what you agree with. We can often tell if the compliment is insincere.
