because the sneeze comes out of your mouth at 100mph so it causes a great force and your face is so small it could blow ur eyes out of ur head! kind of weird but true!

Probably just because of the way the muscles needed to get out a sneeze move your face.

Although I can't say that I always close my eyes when I sneeze.
