It was so beautiful and awesome. My boyfriend took me 2 years ago and we had a great time. They have the Japanese Koi pond area with a pavilion, shrine and little bridges to walk over. There are tons of turtles swimming around with the Koi. The rose garden was nice and it made me feel like I went back to the 1800s or something. They have greenhouses where each greenhouse has a different theme like the dry desert, the humid tropics, etc.. There are plenty of grassy open areas where you can just lay on the ground if you want.

They give you a map of the grounds when you go in so you can easily find the stuff you want to see. You definitely have to go sometime when it's warm and everything is in bloom.

When I was about four, I caught a tadpole in the pond. I named it Mousie (it looked like a mouse to me) and it grew big, and grew legs. Just about the day he turned into a frog, he jumped out of his bowl, went behind a big bookcase and was never seen again. I used to love the Gardens, everything always smelled so good.

I haven't been there for about ten years. The last time I was there, the boisterous (I'm being kind) teens made me feel uncomfortable. I haven't been back - better safe than sorry.

Its the nicest in the City. I used to run there everyday when I lived about 5 blocks from it. Its basically a big park used for viewing flowers and plants that are arranged in a really nice way. Plus they've got this one flower thats about 5 ft big and only blooms once every 50 years, it bloomed last year.....
