Several atheists seem to also have compassion and love for all of humanity. Yet there are also several Christians who do hateful things in the name of Jesus. I think I would rather associate with the atheists who act like me than the "Christians" who read some of the same books and occassionally speak like me. This does not mean i am thinking about deconverting. It means I would rather get something done and not worry about who wants to help or why.

It serves me best to judge people as individuals, to judge them by the group they claim to be a part of, limits my efectiveness as a judge of character. And Character is exactly what I need to judge when I hire, work with, or befriend anyone. Don't let the collectivists win there war against the individual mind.

A lot of Christians forget about Jesus's ultimate message- Love thy neighbor! Many just find obscure verses in the Bible and use them to further their own twisted agenda. The atheists on here love to joke around, but when it comes down to it, they'll be the first to stick up for anyone, and a lot of people should learn from that!

Dear Friend, I can truly understand what you are saying. There are some people in the world who don't know Jesus, don't have a relationship with him, and who are more in tuned to what the Word says about how we are to talk, walk, and treat each other. Jesus even walked and talked and "ate" with the 'sinners' and was criticized for these actions - but it goes to show you that you are a light in a dark world and you must continue to show the light because in truth, we still know that, without accepting Jesus in your heart, believing and confessing him with your mouth that he was raised from the dead - good or not - well, you already know...

I'd rather deal with people who have compassion and love for humanity, full stop. I'm not really invested in what other people believe.

A "Christian" who is hateful in the name of Jesus is not a Christian. Do not be deceived.. Jesus said that many would come in his name... and they are not inspired by God.

So you hate it when someone tries to help you. All you have to say is "I am sorry, those are not my belief's" and they will stop.

Some Atheist are murders
Some Christians are rapist.

You just can't stereotype. People are people. Its has no reflection if their beliefs...at all.
