I think since you are both friends you should tell your friend what's going on so she doesn't get hurt worse later on and just get together with her and meet him at the same time and see what he does. This way he won't even know what hit him upside the head.

immediately confront this aiden guy and ask him if he's dating both of you. if he is, dump him, then call your friend and tell her what happened.
