We have been dating for awhile and I hate to say it but I am getting sick of some of her habits. She is 18 and I am 16. She doesnt go to school anymore, Everyday she smokes and I hate how she acts when shes high. I used to smoke until it made me really sick so I decided not to anymore. I tell her everyday that she needs to cut back but shes says she can stop when ever she wants and that shes not dependant on it, but i think she is. All of our friends are stoners and she likes that but she wont let me around when they are smoking(we had a bad expirience, involving her cousin and she got really mad cuz I passed out and Christie kinda had her way) But what can I do to make her at least cut back??

Let me tell you something. If you are as tired as you say you are, give her an ultimatum. If you know that her habits are affecting you, you need to get away from it. Find out if she cares more about the drugs more than you. Let her know that this is really effecting the relationship between you two and if she don't change you have to go on with your life. Sometimes, doing the right thing will cause you to lose a few friends. Well, let me tell you, the friends you lose weren't friends anyway. Are you gonna just hang around until you can't take anymore? You said that you don't do it anymore because it made you sick. Would you still be doing it if it didn't? Think about it. She may be saying the same thing to herself. You can't make a person change if they don't want to change. If it's bothering you as much as you say. Keep your distance while the drugs are being used. There's always a chance that the police or someone else may catch them and you don't want to go down for something you didn't do anyway. Just stay away when that is going on. Don't be a follower, be a leader. If you lose those friends, o-well, they weren't friends anyway.

You can help your girlfriend to cut back in small amount at a time ,give her the advantage and the disadvantages of her habit,I know it is never easy to cut down some habits but doing it little by little she'll get over it..Let her feel that you mean what you said and you are concerned of her health...Good luck! :-)

You cant make her do anything. She might just be in a real immature stage right now (which is kinda backwards, she should be growing up right about now) Let her know that its effecting the relationship and see how she reacts to that. If she really doesnt give a ****, then she really doesnt care enough about you or your relationship to take it into concideration, then you should make a major decision from there, good luck!

If she isn't addicted then make a deal with her. If she can go without smoking for one day, then you won't bug her about it anymore. She won't be able to do it.

Look, you're trying to better yourself and she isn't. She holding you back from being the best and most you can be. You need to look for someone who will compliment you and not hold you back.

There is a line in Forrest Gump "Stupid is as Stupid does" you are traveling on a road to trouble. Your friend doesn't want to change, you are the one that needs to change. A new group of friends perhaps? Did your parents teach you right from wrong? It is up to you to choose what path you want to take.

tell her that it really bothers u when she does that. have u ever talked about this to her? does she know how u feel? if she really cares about u then she would quit. if she would rather smoke then that is her problem and she is not worth it clearly. tell her to sort out her priorities. what comes first? u or smoking?

Tell her how you feel about smoking and let her share her feelings back as well. After the discussion, youcan both re-evaluate your friendship.

Move on to a decent girl with your same interests. You cannot change someone that does not want to be changed.
