Ok so it's almost healed just one little scab left. I've been using regular unscented lotion on it like my tattoo artist told me to, but is aquaphor bad to use since I'm almost healed? It's still a little dry.

ok I guess I'll stop and go back to the lotion, mine doesn't really need it anyway but my BFs flower is all tore up looking and I was hoping aquaphor would be ok for her to use.

I was told to use aquaphor on my tattoo from day one for 3 weeks...mine turned out ok...use the Aquaphor healing ointment if you are thinking of using Aquaphor. :)

Can't see how Aquaphor would hurt it. It's recommended by most dermatologists for dry skin, so it shouldn't hurt a tatoo. I used cocoa butter and it worked fine for me.

My tattoo guy gives me something called Tattoo goo and tells me when it is gone to use Palmer's coco butter on it. I've had 4 tattoos and it has worked for me every time. Good luck.
