First thing you gotta realise is acne is caused by bacteria on the skin. Some things you can try out that work are Tea Tree oil, wich is a natural anti-biotic. Try and look for 100% pure oil. Rubbing Alcholol also works great but does dry the skin (great if you have oily skin). Alchol or some for of it is present on most over the counter acne medice, wich is why most peopel end up with dry skin. Ive also heard Making a paste with water and baking soda and applying it as a mask to the affected area also works tough i never tried it. hope this helps. try doing a search for "Natrual acne cures" if you looking for somethign more exotic, or search for soemthign in that area, just realise there are no cures for acnea even tough thats what they call em. Acne will alway come back if they have the righ conditions to bread.

I don't know about natural remedies but I know what worked for me and I know it will work for you. Visit Neutrogena at www.neutrogena.com and click on the mirror. The mirror is a skin survey test that will end up giving you the answer to all the right skin care products you need so you won't waste money on products you don't need. They have products for acne, rosacea, dark circles and bags under eyes, elasticity for youth, etc. It asks you a question, explains what the question means, tell you how you can tell if you have a particular skin condition the asks you to answer yes or no. Once you've completed the questions it will give you the perfect product skincare regimen right for you and any individual. www.neutrogena.com even has contact information so you can ask a team of expert dermatologists anything. All of this is free information.

I am an esthetcian, so here is my advice...as far as natural or home made, tea tree is good. Also, yogurt or acidophiles supplements are pretty good, but NOTHING works better for a fast clear up than 'high frequency'. I use this electric modality after all waxes and facials, or on clients who are blowing up my phone wanting to get 'zapped'. Call an esthetcian and ask if they use 'high frequency'! It doesn't hurt, just sounds and smells funny. There is a correct way to do your own extractions. The key is to not spread the bacteria. Be sure to clean the skin before and after doing your own.

I've hear garlic helps prevent and clear up infections. you can get liquid garlic preparations that you mix into juice or something (they don't taste or smell as strong as it sounds).
But another thing to try - put some antibiotic ointment (neosporin) on it at night and cover it so the medicine stays on it. After about two nights it should start to improve.
