After you wash your hair take two tablespoons of vinegar and add to one gallon of water and rinse you hair. My Aunt had the same problem as you. Her doctor had her to do this and it sure worked for her. I hope it works for you.

You may be over washing your hair.

Think of it like this. When you go without food for any prolonged period of time...when you eat..your body turns it all into fat to make up for what you lacked previously.
Same goes for your hair. Hair has natural oils in it that keep it healthy. When you over wash your hair...your body goes on hyper mode..pumping out double the amount you actually need.
Try washing your hair every other day. While the first time your hair might look greasy...trust me you'll notice a huge difference soon.
If it bad...dust a bit of baby powder on it . This will absorb the oil and tone down the shine.

Also, make sure you are using oil-free hair products.

Do you take care of yourself? Eat right, sleep right, drink enought water..etc, etc.?
All of those will have an effect on hair, skin, and nails.

People think if their hair is greasy they should wash it more often & more thoroughly to get the oil out but that's actually the worse thing to do. Greasy hair is caused by an overactive sebaceous gland, so when you wash your hair, don't scrub it too vigorously. Gently wash the hair & then, at the end, rinse it with cold water, as cold as you can stand it. This will close the sebaceous gland. Please try this from now on & it will make a big difference.

i have the same problem. My hair is very thin so I have to wash it everyday. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry I take a small amount of baby powder and brush it in. It absorbs the oils at the roots and makes your hair as good as new. Try it, it really works

I have noticed over the years by puting a rinse (like l'oreal or clariol) that the chemicals do wonders in drying the oil up. If u want the same color u can find that or maybe just a subtle difference to dry all of the oil up.

don't wash it so much, every other day is good, and use a lighter conditioner. I have the same problem and I used to use Biolage but it was too much for my hair and now I use Matrix. It all depends on your type of hair.

Don't use conditioner every day. Or only put it on the ends of your hair, not at the roots. There are also hair oil blotter sheets, powders and sprays you can get from beauty places like Sephora.

Dawn dish liquid? It's worth a try, right?
