does anyone here wanna know stuff about islam so i can help them?
unfortunately islam has been represented so wrong in the media, that even some muslims themselves dont know the religion properly. i can help anyone just to clarify any points they need. and heres a website that might be helpful:

to all shias who answered this question, with all due respect, the prophet was not a shia, and saying that is friend of god is just against everything in the quran. Ali is just a companion and relative to the prophet and i hold all respect for him.

being a muslims is just following the quran and the life of the prophet PBUH. he never said shahadah in that way, why altering the religion and confusing people?

clealrly shiism is not original ,and swearing at prophets companion in ur reigious meetings is obviously not a holy thing, how could it be part of religion.
but i still hold respect 4 u, but i will never forgive someone swearing at prophets companions when he clearly stated that the strength of their beleifs were stronger than all muslims put together. how could u?

as the prophet said:"i bear witnes there is no god but allah, and muhammed is his messanger". stop corrupting it.

I wonder how much Muslims know about it. It seems like most that come here are not Shiite. They seem to spout the same drivel about the koran not being altered, when in fact there can be no other truth other than it has been:

And then they make the mistake (thanks to Mohammed) of taking the Bible and corrupting the realtionship that we are to have with God through Christ. By definition they preach a doctrine that is antichrist.

So I do not need any lessons from you. Rather, I would exort you to Christianity. But if you do not want that, then go your way.

Religion is all about the relationship an individual has with his God. It is absolutley none of your business what my religion is and you cetainly have no right to kill me for my religion. It does nto matter what the religion is. So I have a problem with Islam as a whole since they have taken a stance as prone to kill anyone they don't like (even Muslim factions). Yes there are fanatics in all religions but for some reason, Muslims across the worls are taking a blind eye to these dimwits that are driving their religion into evil. As a whole, Islam is pagan. In significant ways, so is Catholicism. Nodoubt Hinduism and Buddism are also but we don't seme to have these groups around the world using their religion as a reason to kill everyone around them. Yes, I have live over 3 ears in a Muslim country and have many Muslim friends (most are scencerly religious and humble people).

Muslims need to take the lead to overcome the image the dimwits aroud them are creating and stop their BS rhetoric.

I know a little of Islam, and really should know more. I keep intending to read the Koran to get a better idea. I am not a christian, in fact I am not even religious, but I believe people should read all sorts of religious and philosophicval texts, to get an idea of why people behave the way they do.

I know that certain customs Muslims adhere to can be badly interpreted by other cultures, and any intelligent person should make an effort to understand the world around them.

If Mohammad was Gods profit why did there have to be a succors? God can raise up a prophet any time he wants to. Even though Islam recognizes the Bible it refuses to let God anoint his chosen leaders. Prophets are not chosen by blood lines by by God. False teachers pervert the Islamic message for their own domination over people.

No one need to know about all religions. Because any religion worth the salt preaches that God exists, that there is one God, that God has created the Universe, that God loves everyone, that violence is bad, that one should be honest, peaceful, willing to show compassion and sacrifice for others, love everyone, be truthful and so on. The stories in scriptures are only to illustrate those points.
However, a religion is not evaluated by what is in the religion, but by the general pattern of behavior of people of each religion. It is a section of the people of each religion that brings disgrace to a religion. Instead of telling people of other religion about one's own religion, one must denounce the people who does things not approved by religion.
A killer is a killer irrespective of his religion. Do I have a responsibility to announce to the world that I do not consider any killer or terrorist as belonging to my religion. If I do not have the honesty, I automatically fall out of my religion.

I think I know just enough to predict ongoing problems between christians and muslims. Both sides are firmly entrenched in religious doctrine and dogma and will be wringing each others throats for a very long time to come.

--recently a muslim girl was raped and the muslim preists told the girl to marry the one who had done so who was her fathe rin law
