I would try the key first anyway.

It would be according to the police agency's policy on this matter. The department that I work for, for example, will not allow officers to extract keys from a locked vehicle (or residence) for liability reasons; while some neighboring departments will. A better bet would be to call a locksmith. This will cost some money, but you will be covered for any damage inflicted.

If those incidents are certainly occurring then the 1st and maximum acceptable element you could desire to comprehend is that that's coming from the real. What I advise is that your close by branch's management is extremely plenty in touch. Secondly, if there are those varieties of incidents on a time-honored foundation, as you're saying there are, the persons who employed your police chief curiously do not disapprove the two. issues such because of fact the only you're describing merely approximately consistently stem from a management that condones it. that's merely approximately impossible for incidents of that nature to be that rampant and not be obvious to close by politicians and the extreme point of supervision recent interior the dept itself. some say to get a video digital camera. in case you do this comprehend which you're putting your self interior the limelight as a objective to the very employer that condones the habit which you're deploring. i might talk with others on your community first. locate various others who sense a similar way. shelter your self with numbers extremely of status on your guy or woman. Create an particularly lawful community team who's taking the stance that beneficial adjustments are mandatory. finally bypass to the authority ABOVE your close by political base. Be knowledgeable and expert which includes your mindset and in case you have a video digital camera in touch............ save what you finally end up getting as a team as your arsenel. merely dont step out on your guy or woman. Do it with a nicely prepared team.

If you honestly can't get a locksmith, then I guess you could try them. Although they may cause some damage getting in as well, whether it be through the door/window, so you're probably going to be dishing out some cash either way. Sorry for your situation.

Police help with getting keys out of cars, I don't see why the wouldn't help you in this situation. You will have to sign a waiver, just in case the do any damage to your property, they aren't liable. Just remember, the police motto is "To Protect and SERVE." They may not be happy about assiting, but they usally will help someone out.

You have to call a locksmith. I doubt the police will help.
Or, you can break a window to get in.

Generally the police will assist - but they will not do anything that can cause damage (they do not want to be held liable).
They will probably advise you to break the least expensive window.

We don't do doors here in our city.
I would suggest trying to pry/break the least expensive window in your house.
