I wonder how many men get into that business because of this. "The Wiggles" make me think of perverts. Not sayin' they are, maybe it's just me. And there's those two guys who are supposed to be brothers with imaginary remote controls. I dunno they look like wierdo's.

Three of the four Wiggles are fathers and met during early childhood education classes in college. Doesn't sound like perverts to me. Doing research on "suspected" performers can help ease concerns and may even change how you look at them. Although in this day and age it's easy to see why someone would worry. Personally I'd be more afraid of my kid going to church.

I can't say for shows on today.
Guys like Mr. Rogers were "sensitive" and "loving". Totally trustable, totally really like that. I enjoyed seeing him melt Joan Rivers once, she turned into a little girl, it was amazing.
I think mostly its cuz so many Moms were abused, and therefore suspicious of all males and half the females of being pervs.
Some of that caution is justified, 90% isn't.
If somebody is male and middle aged, it does NOT mean they abused anyone. Sensitive types and/or large men with beards either.

It is harder to trust other men with our children. I think its because there are more men that or pedophiles then women but they are out there. But you also got to remember that it is just a TV show and that we may think theres something wrong with them but those kids that sit in front of there T.V every morning to watch Wiggles, they think they are the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Ohhh yah affter Peewee and any other child show hosts that have been found to be molseting it realy makes you wonder how many of them out there are doing stuff to children?! Tell you one thing. I would NEVER EVER alow my son to go backstage or perform in those shows!

they do it for different reasons. some have to do it as a community service for a commited minor crime. then there are others like mr rogers who did his show because of what he saw and did while serving in the military. he wanted to forget and concentrate on only happy things. what better way to do that than surround yourself with children. its an interesting question and even more interesting when you learn about each persons background.
men love kids as much as women do

Yes. I think there are a lot of perverts on tv in general. Not everybody of course, but a surprisingly large number of them.
