According to the Bible a prophet was one who proclaimed the truth of God and the actual Bible prophets began with Samuel and extended up through Christ. You'll notice that when Jesus talked about the prophets he always said Moses and the prophets, making a distinction between them. Mohammed of course is from a totally different religion and is certainly not considered a prophet by the Bible standards.

Depends on what religion you are talking about.
Christianity and Islam share many of the Major prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Moses, Zackariah, Jacob, Issac, Ishmael, Jove, Aaron, Solomon, David, and so on.
Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet as well, while Christians believe he is either God, or the son of God.
Jews don't acknowledge Jesus
Muslims also believe in the last prophet- Muhammad (pbuh), while other religions don't.
In Islam there are hundreds of Prophets (supposedly one for each group of people) , but only a few - the Most important ones- are mentioned in the Quran.

Jesus is the SON of God...not God himself.
Adam and Noah were also prophets of God. Prophets of Islam, I think they are the ones you are referring to.
Each prophet, with the exception of Muhammad, was sent to convey God's message to a specific group of people or nation. Muhammad's mission is viewed as one for the whole of mankind.
I am Atheist...but was brought up Catholic. I find religion very interesting but no longer hold a belief in it.

Abraham and I believe you mean Moses and of course there are no prophets after Christ named in the bible. There are others that you can research on the web or a good study bible. Look in your Christian book stores and ask for help. Certainly there is nobody named Mohammad as prophet in the bible. I believe people know where he is buried, but it would be people of the Islamic religion.

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence
Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
"Fools", said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed
In the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence

Get a Bible ....start with the book of Isaiah and go to Malachi. There's 16 prophets right there.Add Elijah,Elisha, and several others mentioned from Samuel through II Chronicles, plus John the Baptist, you have alot of prophets.
Abraham wasn't really a prophet and neither was Muhammed.

they are apostles ..messengers of God...chosen from amongst the humans...they in each era..warn the evildoers from the wrath which God will bring on them...prophets guide people to the path which God asks us to follow...prophets convey the Divine Message to the people,,,,sometimes God bestows upon the prophets with Sacred Scriptures...these scriptures are words of God not the words of the prophets, but with the passage of time..unfortunately...many of these scriptures have been changed and altered,,,,yet today you will find similarities in these scriptures because these scriptures were Divine Message from One True God.but God chose different apostles during different times for each nation.
